Wedding Photographer at Haseley Church, Warwick

The British summer weather is often unpredictable but the job of a wedding photographer is to just deal with it. I do try my best to work around the weather it is what it is and cannot be predicted with any amount of planning or praying.

This wedding at St Mary’s Church in Haseley near Warwick was the case and point it was 20th July high summer but somehow at points, its was dark and overcast then both raining and sunny at the same time as well as being very windy.

But despite the weather, I found a nice spot that was quite sheltered in the church car park which was ideal for photos and for some nice wedding portraits in the cornfield.

I have covered a few weddings here and I really like the small intimate feel of the place and the Tudor windows that give the church a unique feel compared to churches that have been remodelled in the Victorian era.

I was booked for two hours wedding photography coverage, the bridal party were all walking to the church with the guests arriving by car, I took photos of the guests arriving but before long the bridal party had arrived and then we were into the Church for the service. The service was quite short with a reading and a few hymns and again before I knew it we were outside for confetti photos, candid photos and plus the formal photos and finally some portraits of the bride and groom.
